Image and Feel Fund |
Invigorating the senses makes us more aware of the beauty of the world and those around us. Examples of the Foundation’s commitments are as follows: Friends of the Troy public Library-Writers at the Troy Public Library, Troy Public Library-Family Festival of the Arts, Troy Community Chorus, The Heritage Band. |
Diversity Fund |
This fund provides support for programs that promote harmonious relationships and open communication in our diverse community through education and multicultural exchange. Projects include the MLK Celebration of Freedom and the College International Student Orientation programs. |
Troy Healthy Youth Healthy Seniors Fund |
This fund was established by a grant from the council of Michigan Foundations made possible by an allocation of the Tobacco Settlement Funds from the State of Michigan. |
Lifetime Learning Fund |
Education is a lifelong process for all and the cornerstone of a community. Knowledge-seeking and knowledge–sharing communities are happy, productive, thriving places because the exchange of information and ideas stimulates creativity, leads to action and change for a vibrant community. Destination Imagination Global Finals and the Leadership in the New Century programs are just two of the many that are funded through this fund. |
Lifestyles Fund |
The Foundation is committed to helping efforts that ensure and promote the care and well-being of its citizens through areas of recreation, fitness, human services and social interaction that promote strong family values. Support has been given to SHARP (Senior Home Assistance Repair Project), On My Own of Michigan, Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic and the Troy Community Coalition. |
Wealth Creation Fund |
The Foundation will encourage and support programs that promote a balance between residential and business to assure a strong economic future through redevelopment, innovation and appropriate use of resources, while maintaining a family–centered quality of life. The Chamber of Commerce Crucial Conversations and the Troy Trails and Pathways programs are two that receive benefits of this fund. |
General Endowment Fund |
This unrestricted permanent fund supports grants for a wide variety of purposes giving the Foundation the flexibility to meet changing community needs. |
Ann Marie Rondo Fund for the Developmentally Challenged |
This fund was established by the family of Ann Marie Rondo to benefit programs that target the needs of developmentally challenged adults. |
Kaszubski Fund For Physically Challenged Children |
This fund was established in memory of Rose Ann Kaszubski to provide educational scholarships or material funding to individuals who will, or are working, with Physically Challenged Children. |
J.L. Whitton Dance Scholarship Fund |
This fund was established in memory of Joann Lucile Whitton to provide scholarships for students of dance. |
Troy Woman’s Association Fund |
This fund was established to serve the disadvantaged members of the community through charitable and community service organizations. |
Concorde Fund |
The Concorde Fund was established to provide constructive life choices through youth-directed educational, recreational and problem-solving activities. Funding is also provided for the tools needed to channel youthful energy into appropriate activities that build skills and values leading to productive and engaged citizenship. |
Troy Boys and Girls Club Leadership Fund |
This Fund supports the development of three Character and Leadership Development programs. These programs are the Torch Club for 11-13 year olds, Keystone for ages 14-18, and Youth of the Year for all Teens. These programs empower youth to support and influence their club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and others’ cultural identities. All club programs incorporate the Youth Development Strategy, an approach that fosters a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness and influence among young people. These programs help young people develop self confidence and self esteem. |

Aloha Tropics Fund |
Aloha Tropics actively develops cultural programs such as professional development workshops, performances for schools, libraries and cultural groups to cultivate an appreciation for, and understanding of our varied cultural differences. They strive to showcase cultural performances in the promotion of unity and understanding of diversity and build bridges on our cultural differences and help large and small companies listen to and learn from key voices in their communities. |
The Harry and Marguerite Maxwell Fund |
This Fund was established to honor Harry and Marguerite Maxwell for their commitment to education and the sacrifices they made to provide educational opportunities for their family. Marguerite was the valedictorian of her high school class and Harry was the first college graduate in his family, earning both a bachelor's degree and a MBA from Michigan State University. They both believe strongly that education is essential in order to achieve success in life. This fund provides grants for research, materials, and tuition to help students complete their college degrees. Special emphasis is placed on supporting students with financial need who are pursuing careers in health care and education |
SHARP (Senior Home Assistance Repair Program) Fund |
T he purpose of the program is to help seniors (age 60 +) and physically challenged individuals, who are Troy homeowners, maintain their homes and remain independent for a longer period of time. It also enhances the quality of their lives by making homes safer and by reducing some of the stress and confusion involved in making home repairs. The work is done by volunteers hoping to utilize their experiences and gain meaningful volunteer opportunities. The labor for this service is free, but you will be required to pay for supplies necessary to complete the work. Assistance may be available if the need exists. |
Dino Ciccarelli Children's Fund |
The Dino Ciccarelli and Friends Invitational Golf Tournament is a stop for the Celebrity Players Tour. The goal is to raise funds for local children's charities such as Suite Dreams, The UAW- DaimlerChrysler Hand-In-Hand Foundation, Detroit Children's Hospital, The Detroit Lions' Courage House & Haven and WDRQ Detroit Radio's WISHMAS and Stuff-A-Bus. Since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $350,000 for Detroit area children's charities. |
Illuminasia |
The mission of Illuminasia is to provide Asian Cultural Education and Diversity Training. It promotes communication across ethnic groups and enlightens people of all communities about Asian cultures, including but not limited to, Indian culture. Illuminasia's programs and classes provide the skills and knowledge needed to get the most out of interactions with people of a different race, gender or nationality. |
Veteran's Memorial Fund |
The Veteran's Memorial was the dream child of Marine Sgt. Major Jack Turner and other veterans who make up the Veterans Memorial Committee. The eleven foot monument was dedicated on Memorial Day 2001. Blending local traditions with currant needs, the Foundations has partnered with the Veterans Memorial Park Committee to help generate and distribute funds to sell memorial bricks and maintain the monument. |
Troy Trails Development Fund |
The Troy Trails Development Fund was established to receive donations from individuals, businesses, government agencies and other foundations for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a series of bike and walking paths and trails in the City of Troy. This project is a citizen driven initiative in partnership with the City of Troy Parks and Recreation Department and the Community Foundation of Troy. |
